Kitchen worktops in London

We fit across Greater London, most often in the north and east, and we are used to the practical realities of working in the city.

London kitchens bring problems the Home Counties do not. Access is the big one: third floor flats without a lift, communal stairwells with tight turns, and streets where the van cannot sit outside for long. Those are planning problems rather than obstacles, and we would rather talk about them at survey than discover them on fitting day. Tell us the access when you enquire and we will plan the piece sizes and joint positions around it.

We work across Greater London regularly. For central postcodes we will talk through access, parking and permits before we quote, because those affect how the job runs. Three to five working days from template to fitting, access permitting.

What a kitchen costs in London

Typical all-in cost, quartz, supplied and fitted including VAT
KitchenSlabsTypical range
Small galley or single run1£2,000 to £2,500
Standard kitchen, no island2£3,000 to £3,600
Kitchen with an island2 plus island£3,850 to £4,300
Larger kitchen with an island3 plus island£4,350 to £5,000

Those figures are for kitchens, which is the job we are asked for most. Bathrooms, vanity tops, splashbacks, utility rooms, outdoor kitchens, commercial fit-outs, fireplaces and tables are all priced against your drawings instead, because they vary far more than a kitchen does. Marble, granite and porcelain are priced by hand for the same reason, the material cost swings significantly between one block and the next.

  • Free home visit with samples, we come to you
  • Your actual slab approved from photographs before anything is cut

How it works

Step 1

Free home visit

We come to you with samples, look at the actual room and talk through the stone, the edges and the layout. No showroom trip, and no obligation.

Step 2

One itemised price

Templating, stone, fabrication, all cut-outs, fitting and VAT, in one figure agreed before anything is cut. What you approve is what you pay.

Step 3

Template

Once your units are level we template the room by hand, to a fraction of a millimetre, and agree joint positions and veining direction with you in the room.

Step 4

Your slab, approved

You see photographs of your actual slab and approve it before it is cut, so there are no surprises when it arrives.

Step 5

Fitted and sealed

Our own fitters install it, usually within three to five working days of templating, and we take the packaging away with us.

Step 6

Aftercare inside 72 hours

If anything needs adjusting afterwards we come back, free of charge, and we have never taken more than 72 hours to get there.

Frequently asked questions in London

Do you cover the whole of London?
Yes. We work across Greater London regularly. For central postcodes we will talk through access, parking and permits before we quote, because those affect how the job runs. If you are just outside, ask, we travel for the right job and we template nationwide for projects that warrant it.
How long does a worktop take in London?
Three to five working days from template to fitting, access permitting. We template once your units are level, you approve your slab from photographs, and we fit.
Do you have a showroom we can visit?
No, and deliberately. We bring the samples to you instead, so you see the stone in your own kitchen under your own light, which is where you have to live with it. There is no charge and no obligation.
What is included in the price?
Templating, the stone, fabrication, every cut-out, fitting and VAT, in one itemised figure agreed before anything is cut. Drainer grooves and pencil edges are standard.
